What type of bulk?

Post by tubzsnackz »

bulk.jpg
Can anyone identify this one? Toyvend said Seaga, Seaga are unsure as they no longer stock them! It has a metal cast body. lock /Key is round like a chinese tower lock number ZJ1. The white wheel is the one that came with it.
I want to convert it to capsules but the toyvend/beaver wheels are not quite right (too tall to fit in thus causing a a wheel jam when you tighten the globe down!)

Thanks,

Simon.

Hi Simon,

They are Chinese, made by Zenjet. There are loasd available and they are cheaply made, but in my experience, work ok. I have converted them using the toyvend capsule wheel, but this was a while ago, so there may have been changes to the one they sell now.

Did the wheel fit straight on yours? Mine takes a bit of adjusting to get working then will vend 2 capsules every now and again as the cogs are not quite right. Also is it normal for a beaver to miss a vend maybe once in 100 or would that be due to bridging problems caused by mixing products?
Thanks Simon.

Hi Simon,

I have mine working ok. I do get the ocasional hitch with a 5 p stuck, or the random two capsules given and none on the next vend. I have vended 100 capsules and had one misvend, so I realise that I cant solve the problem. I will have a look at the wheels in these and see if they match yours, but from memory, they look the same. I cant remember if I had to make them fit though. I have one that I am due to exchange for a 3 L wonder. When I get it home I will be back with more info.

Cheers,

Paul

Thanks Paul. mine have a thin cog on the back of the coin mechanical so I put a thicker washer to push it out a couple of mm and the globe height needed to be raised slightly to stop the wheel contacting the brush housing causing a jam with the wheel unable to turn. I also want to know if anyone supplies 50p coin carriers to fit these.
Cheers, Simon.

Looking at your picture of the wheel housing kit toyvend have sent you the wrong bit. The bit with the three holes in is fine but the black bit with the spring across has been cut down the sides. this is so they fit the 4 way machines. it wont work on the classic/chinese type machines that u have there. Ring me and i will talk u through it

Hi Brian, George at Toyvend said they are all cut at the sides to fit all the various machines. I have since found that northwestern wheels fit in these Zanjets. You still need to make the cog move out sleight further but I think it is now sorted. Not got them on site yet but vended about forty capsules ok. Only problem I now have is 2 28mm balls sometimes come out on one vend. Toyvend classic 50p coin carriers fit in the coin mechs so that is a bonus!

Hi Simon perhaps your right?? its just the 2 rods that come down either side dont have any holes to go in!!! I set one up an struggled badly because the brush housing kept moving, in the end i glued the brush housing to the bottom ring as it was a quick fix. After all we all need a hole to put our rods into dont we :D

Glad u have it sorted
