Hi all,
I have been out and about site finding for my sweet towers, I have had some success, but I am experiencing resistance from pubs, the landlords/managers seem to think a tower would get damaged or broken into too easily, another issue appears to be that they think it is primarily a kids thing. Is that down to what stock I have in my towers, should I change it for pubs? Once again I would appreciate your opinions.
Had a thought while in the dentist waiting room, would a small toy vending machine work in there. Mummy buying her kid a toy for being a brave little soldier! I don't have any toy machines yet so it was just a thought.
Cheers
Gus

Re: Pubs
I think if you did toy machines it would be worth a shot.
I am thinking the same way to be honest - I am looking to get more into toy vending as the margins are and the stock isn't perishable like Pringles/Sweet tubs.
I just can't decide what machines to buy. I have had some reasonable offers from members on here but I just can't decide how best to go about it.

Ok , I know its a bit of a cliched saying and I guess Del Boy made it famous but you dont make a penny in this Business sitting on the Margins.
There has never been a better time to get cheaper vending machines due to seasonal closures or forced closures due to the recession.
PPl will advise you till they are blue in the face, but you dont truly learn lessons in Business until you have learnt it from personal experience.

Re: Pubs
Toys in dentists, I wouldn't bother, not enough footfall. Toy machines are more expensive than towers and on the high street business is slower so you need to choose your locations wisely! 3l Wonders & Superettes are a good machines to consider if your just starting.

Re: Pubs
Thanks for the advice, I am considering getting a couple of toy machines in the New Year. Still struggling to get my towers into pubs for some reason. Though on the bright side one of the machines I have in a dance school made £57 in ten days......beginners luck I think.

Re: Pubs
I will be happy if it ends up making £57 per month, but hopefully more.
