Re: Tower Extensions
I've had two Clenport M84s 12 high floor standing Pringles machines on a busy site for over two years. works well, bought another one from Rockvend a couple of weeks ago. I've got some extra long rods for sweet towers, hav'nt fitted them yet. for minican busy sites I use the Clenport M108s, these are still 9 rings high but use 'Pringle machine bases' so there are 12 rows. both are reliable machines.

Re: Tower Extensions
Hi Pete, how tall will your rods make the sweet towers? are they just m10 bar or do they have the m8 thread on the end? I just used m10 and a locking nut. Im just a bit worried the nut may still come off. where did you get yours?PGBrew wrote:I've had two Clenport M84s 12 high floor standing Pringles machines on a busy site for over two years. works well, bought another one from Rockvend a couple of weeks ago. Re: Tower Extensions
Simon,
It's quite simple really: take the rod out of a Chinese machine, cut to size (from the bottom only!), insert onto a Clenport machine. This works because the rod is two piece in Clenports and one piece in Chinese made machines. Just take a machine apart and see for yourself.

I would really like to extend a couple of Clenport M42's, does anyone know if it's possible to buy an extended central rod and plastic segments from somewhere?tubzsnackz wrote:Hi Pete, how tall will your rods make the sweet towers? are they just m10 bar or do they have the m8 thread on the end? Just get some M10 rod and nyloc nuts, I robbed the segments from a broken machine.Quinch wrote:I would really like to extend a couple of Clenport M42's, does anyone know if it's possible to buy an extended central rod and plastic segments from somewhere?tubzsnackz wrote:Hi Pete, how tall will your rods make the sweet towers? are they just m10 bar or do they have the m8 thread on the end? Re: Tower Extensions
I only have Clenport M81's and M42's, is an M10 rod the one in the M81? How do I remove the rod from the M42?
Thanks
