How do you go about this storage wise do you put in your wallet when you collect or into a tin etc ?

Cash bags from the bank. Kept in ice cream tubs of £500 at home and swapped with a few local pubs into notes. Then my wife spends it!

Put it in the bank. Count pound coins into bags. NatWest have a coin machine where you can just pour it in.

It all depends on how much revenue you are collecting.
You will need to acquire plastic £1 money bags from the bank which hold £20 per bag together with the £500 red outers which will hold all your small bags of £20. When depositing the cash the bank weighs the money so be careful to count correctly.
You can either bank as you go or wait until you have sufficient volumes to deposit at the bank. If you feel your home is safe then put somewhere to store until you have built up sufficient volumes or as others have said, find friendly pubs or outlets who will buy your cash back and this will save you on bank charges and you will also be doing the pub a favour too as they get charged for cash.
