Snack Vending Machine Advise
Hi all looking for some advise help,
I have been approached by one of my customers where i have a tower sited, they are looking for a snack vending machine for confectionary/crisps as they don't want the hassle anymore, currently they do around 100/150 pw but this should go up because availability would be better.
So I would like to know your thoughts re best machines, new/old probably reconditioned, I dont have any experience with these machines, i have been asked before for snack/drink machines and feel it may be a good time to dip my toe into this area.
Any input re profits avg per machine snack/snack and can/ can only machines just rough ideas.
Thanks for your help
vern

Re: Snack Vending Machine Advise
You need a lot of machines before you start to make a profit due to cost of stock until your buying a decent amount.
Maintenance can be an issue if you dont have some emectrical mechanical experience.
You can buy a new machone with maintenace included bit would need to be a busy site to cover your costs.
It has been discussed in previous posts i think ic you do a search.
Any other info just ask

Thanks Matt I realise the stock cost issue that goes hand in hand with most business, and everyone has to start somewhere.
I'm sure for instance if I was to buy a machine from you for instance and later down the line I had an issue I could phone you you or ask on this forum for help.
Quite capable of switching out parts.
I'm thinking more towards a reconditioned machine
thx

Re: Snack Vending Machine Advise
try and find find a local company to rent machine with maintenace second hand for about 20- 25 a week. Profit on 100-150 with cost you would be paying maybe 35-70 a week less cost of machine.
So you can see why you need a lot of machines and they must be performing well. You need more machines as well for rotation of stock if some are slow sellers.
