Initialise wont fix it. You need to set columns

You need to set column depth for each one and then reinitialise each column. (p041) ithink

I checked selections for each column, can't remember if I checked depth settings, will look next time I'm there.
Yes it is 041.
Think I'll also try disconnecting things like the temp sensor one by one and see if that makes any difference.
It must be something weird like that, there's more than 1 fault/symptom and they're a bit too random.

It was the plastic gearbox housing on motor 1. It was broken on the inside causing the worm gear to jump out of position if there were any more than 6 cans in the channel. Once the gears started jumping it must have thought the channel was jammed. No idea why it was causing the other selections to behave so strangely though.
