I have a vdi 700 snack automaat which has random letters/numbers appearing in the display.
Does anyone know how to reset the ram memory or do a factory reset?
The cmos battery can't be removed.

Re: Vendo vdi 700 reset
Thanks Matt, I'm gonna try a new display tomorrow.
Would still like to know how you reset the RAM on these machines though.

Re: Vendo vdi 700 reset
The factory reset is in the hidden menu I think, its been a long time!!. They are a nightmare to work on especially setting up spaces and they dont vend bottles well at all.
Re: Vendo vdi 700 reset
A technical guy at Vendo benelux told me that factory reset is in the CCOC menu, but it didn't make much sense to me as all I could find there was coin/note options.
I've changed the display, it's not perfect but seems to be useable.
I did try to short the battery with power off, but I don't reckon it did anything because usually a reset would mean resetting the prices afterwards, but the prices were still the same...
I don't like those Vendo models either, they seem to be very temperemantal!
