paul what your proposing is wrong on so many levels, firstly glenn supplies sweets and doesnt try to shaft you by threatning your buisness if you stop. i cant speak for hurleys but when it comes to tubz vending the thought of them being allowed access to the whole forum is irresponsible to say the least. no operator would post a thing.

Hi Glen,
I thought you liked competition- thats what you said you were bringing to the tower vending industry. Please dont get upset when someone else wants to see a more level playing field. There is room for all three companies to keep growing, especially with the charity angles. All I want to see is fairness, but it seems that you disagree.

Paul
Hi Paul

Maybe we should have a Poll, you could start one if you feel that strongly about it!
I ,for one, would be curious as to how many other operators on here have an apetite for this idea?

I think you could maybe over estimting what Glen gets out of the closed parts of the forum.
I have had dealings with Glenn and it seems the main reason for Sweetfix was to supply himself and a couple of other operators in his area, makes sense to me!
I dont think Glenn has any plans for World Domination in tower vending supply and serves mainly to keep the big suppliers in check, price wise!

Good for him, I say!

the thing to remember Paul is how you felt when you were lied about earning £9 a week profit from each tower when you signed up for tubz vending and were then worried about disenfranchising. If you couldnt come here for advice without fear of those who shafted you reading your every word imagine how that feels.

Hi Glen,

I agree that there is value in sometimes having a closed debate about certain issues. However, not giving equal access to all operator/suppliers is not fair- thats my main point. You use the closed sections to ask questions about issues relating to Sweetfix and ask for operators to help you. This is different. The others do not have this routeway available to them, so you have an advantage.

I certainly do not want to get you upset, but I feel strongly about fairness.

Thanks,

Paul

I agree Ade

I know of many operators who have tied themselves too one supplier and even though they have a genuine grivence cannot have a voice in the open section of the forum for fear of reprisals.

I believe those operators DESERVE a closed section so they can chat amounst themselves.
Personally, as an independant, I have no problem opening the forum up, I pity the Mods though. Just look what a farce it all became on UKBF, they all hate each other it is like a nest of Vipers.

The only way you are going to get all four, namely Snack A Can, tubz vending, Hurleys and SF onto a forum togerther is on UKBF. There is no way Snack A Can would come on here to post in my IMHO!

Asking people about what lines they want us to supply is just called market research. I got asked by a member on here to consider supplying a couple of extra chocolate lines. Nothing easy and priced right comes to mind. I think its unfair you trying to stop me doing that in the place I see fit.

Hi Glen,

Why does market research have to be private.

Thanks,

Paul

None of the suppliers have ever cared about fairness when they where raking it in from overpriced stock and machines.
I couldn't care less if suppliers use the forum or not, it's not here for them.
It's not here for them to get more customers and make more money, it's here for the operators.

I applaud Glen for what he's achieved (even though I don't buy any packaged stock from anyone) and think anyone else that buys stock from any supplier should shake Glenns hand or buy him a pint as he's saved you all money!

NONE of the stock prices would have dropped without him so the last thing we're going to do is kick him off.
