Hi Jim

I have just received an email from one of my Franchisees and I was appalled at the low level they are now playing at ..... this is what he has experienced!

I have been distracted by Simon Smith at tubz vending, what do you know of him, he has had his chaps going round trying to remove my machines and replace with his and in one instance has totally rebranded one of my machines to tubz vending and filled it with their stock. Now he claims its an accident as he has recently purchased the sites and was not aware of my machines, would of thought he would have had an inventory; Is this a tactic on tubz vending behalf by forcing the competition to ring them and then trying to convert them?

Kind regards,

Barbara F*******

Very interesting Noel, and thanks for posting it!

No one could argue that Snack A Can were right to feel put out at what happened to one of there franchisees.
In my Opinion, it was an innocent mistake but i could , of course, be wrong?
What I believe is so sad is Snack A Can feel they have to use one of there Franchisees to post on hear.
Barbara, if you are reading this , why dont you appoint an official company spokesperson to do it for you.
Hurleys have Paul, tubz vending have Kris and its all official and above board!
Using a franchsee as a mouthpiece just looks like you have something to hide!

Can you tell how far the phone was from the computer.

I dont know about tubz vending stooping low. I think it is an understandable mistake, but the Snack A Can e-mail confirms that there are no changes in their approach. Using your customers ( J) in this way is appalling.

if it was a mistake then fine, but I thought the forum was a place to be truthful transparent place to air our grievences (I prefer to do that direct to the company concerned, I have done so, but I havent fallen out with them) they are my livelihood. tubz vending have loads of people on here promoting them, fighting their corner Snack A Can seem to have no one it just seems to be one way traffic attacking Snack A Can, but if anyone dares critisize tubz vending then god help them.

The message I got from Barbara was a genuine concern to all Snack A Can Franchisees, she did a cut & paste job, what if it had been the other way round? and the message was to one of you from tubz vending would have you passed it on to fellow franchisees in PM's and messages. I WILL DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT MY BUSINESS. Does everyone not believe that a Company who warns you of possible things which may happen is a good company to work with rather than just taking your money? and letting you deal with the problems.

The fact that I don't like the tubz vending clear pots, and prefer the Snack A Can ones is MY preference, you can't shoot me for it. To clear up my charity aspect of Snack A Can -

Personally I have a mixture of sites,:-
1. where I give commission to the site
2. I write a quarterly cheque which is made out to CHAS, sent to Vending Revolution and passed on to CHAS, and cashed by CHAS.
3. I also have a few sites where I give them commission and they pass it on to their Charities, and it's not 5%.

I looked at the post at home yes, and then I went to do some ablutions when I got another e-mail from my Brother I looked at that on my Blackberry and then looked at the e-mail on this site, Yes I take my Blackberry to the toilet, I also take a good book sometimes am I going to be put up against a wall for that now??

No, but passing off other peoples messages as your own then thats not on.

Jimmy,

I dont know where you get it from that everyone fights tubz vending corner, I suggest you read some of the other posts on here wherethe other suppliers get as many complaints if not more I would say. Maybe if other operators were allowed to join the forum and post without fear of retributions then more would join and fight Snack A Can corner as you say. If the message from Barbara was one of genuine concern for her customers, then why did she not simply email them? why the need for putting it up on the forum if she is not actively taking part is a bit beyond me unless it was there to stir up trouble. As you say yourself maybe it would have been better to get all facts before making such posts and using the forum as a last resort.

Err not thick, but you said it was passed onto you from a franchisee you didnt mention it was actually from Barbara, and its funny how there have been at least 5 questions aimed at you or Barbara which you blatantly refuse to answer and start waffling on about Snack A Can can composition or how poor old Snack A Can arent treated fairly on an open forum which they refuse to take part in. In fact, at least they have the option to take part without getting their posts edited to suit which use to be commmon practice on another forum. Now that would be opening another can of worms wouldnt it bringing that up about fairness for suppliers. ;)

It seems obvious that Barbara is fearful of registering on here and would rather use others as a message board. Shame on you Barbara. Register on her and discuss the issues connected with this business in an open fashion, like tubz vending and Hurleys already do. I feel qiote sorry for you Jimmy.

yes it was a cut & paste from another franchisee - look Barbara doesn't want to come here, and I don't blame her Vending Revolution does not want a presence here cos they will get flamed and it's not professional that is a fact, the hassle and abuse I have received has made me wonder if it's all worth it I have many other things to do than be here as I said, I will leave it to other Snack A Can franchisees but I don't think they will...
