In my opinion for what it is worth I think Snack A Can have good packaging and brands, yes they are more expensive than the others. But if Barbara came on here and listened to the feedback (be it positive or negative) it would help her to potentially make changes within her business and I would think possibly even convert some venders.

She is not going to undergo any personal attacks or abuse because that's what the moderators are for.

In business any feedback if used correctly will only better your company.

This is the most positive posting I have read on here for a long time. Barbara and Pete are very good at what they do, there is no denying that, but I do see their point and agree with them - they have a lot more better things to do managing their business, I am on here now only because I'm waiting on a delivery no other reason.

Why come here and listen to "feedback" when it's like a pack of rabid dogs biting at your backside?
You better watch Eatsweets you may get flamed in a minute!!

Jimmy1361 wrote:yes it was a cut & paste from another franchisee - look Barbara doesn't want to come here, and I don't blame her Vending Revolution does not want a presence here cos they will get flamed and it's not professional that is a fact, the hassle and abuse I have received has made me wonder if it's all worth it I have many other things to do than be here as I said, I will leave it to other Snack A Can franchisees but I don't think they will...
I dont think you have been abused. Ppl on here have just pointed out that Barbara is using you. Let her fight her own battles with tubz vending. Only cowards use others to fight their battles for them.

she is not using me, tubz vending and Hurleys are represented here Snack A Can is not, Snack A Can is my business if I want to say something I will. Barbara told me something and I thought it was worthwhile letting as many Snack A Can Franchisees know as possible and I get it in the neck.

Jimmy,

You are the only person on here that thinks your getting attacked personally, you started all this nonsense in the first place. Why put messages up like that if you dont like anybody responding? Eatsweets made a positive comment as you said yourself and straight away you are warning him to beware the rabing dogs!!!

In fact your comment earlier aimed at me 'are you thick' seems the only person causing problems and abusing people is you. You said yesterday (and 6 months ago) you had had enough of the forum, may I suggest you stop making stupid posts which inevitably cause a backlash and then complain when things dont go you (or Snack A Can's) way.

As said before this post was made to stir up trouble and it backfired spectacularly.
Regards Matt

Hi Jimmy,

You have highlighted that Barbara is not represented on here. That is her choice, as the forum has sections where suppliers can now post. Prior to the forum being opened up, you would have been correct, but now, she has a voice on here, if she wants to use it. Please dont let yourself be directly, or indirectly be used by your supplier. I can speak from some experience here and believe me its not worth it and only you get the hassle. Concentrate on your busines and your needs only. Suppliers are naturally looking after themselves and so should we.

People on here will always respond positively to you, but if you use inflamatory words, or put posts on for others, you will receive sharp comments.

Good luck, Paul

I will put that e-mail in a nutshell.....Barbara sent out that e-mail in the hope that someone would put it on here and give negative press to tubz vending. She made out in that e - mail that tubz vending were stealing sites . As it happens Kris was able to come on here and explain what happened and I have to say his story is credible and I think if I was to be asked for to make a decision i would have to say that i believe him. So Barbara's bad propaganda backfired on her. She probably didn't mean for any particular individual to post it but Jimmy , you took the bait. I know you meant well but such are the tactics of Vending Revolution that you sometimes don't see it coming. She once offered me a free box of stock if I went on UKBF and sang her praises. I already had sang her praises at the time cos i was buying her stock and believed in Vending Revolution. And I never took the stock. They have a good business and a mediocre model but their business practices are low...very lowand unprofessional. And the tubz vending sell better .....so I left after a few months.

I found both Peter and Barbara Charming and Professional people and they never gave me any reason to fall out with them!
I found sales of there products reasonable too!
I was introduced to tubz vending when I bought a tubz vending round!
I stuck steadfastly with Snack A Can though as I was happy with them.
Where tubz vending finally got me onboard was with there branded stuff.
I knew from experience with the bulk venders how well Skittles and Minstrels sold compared to Jelly Beans and the like.
Snack A Can had NO branded items at the time and they appeared to be very Anti branded.
Barbara even sent me a pm via UKBF explianing why branded confectionary was NOT the way to go!
Shame they took so long to react to what most independant venders have known for a couple of years now, branded really boosts your sales!
I have always maintained that the Snack A Can products look great in Towers and look more professional than the "cartoon labels" of the rivals.
But I also do this for a living, not a hobby, and I need the fastest moving stock avaliable in pallet loads quickly and at the best possible prices and thats why I only use companies that supply there goods in the clear containers!
