You know what Glenn et al, this really isnt a funny issue. Some vindictive and jealous b"£$%^d thought they would stir up ****. Sometimes, it still amazes me how low people will stoop to and use such underhandedness to prevent healthy competition.
Have and laugh and enjoy yourself whilst you can, Im sure youre enjoying envisioning me dealing with this issue, but deal with it I am.
I know EXACTLY who stirred it up and WILL have the last laugh.
Why dont you go and discuss something that doesnt show you gloating over someone elses problems.
Not having a go at you Nigel, just the smart alec comments that resulted.

Glenn, I dont need to be reminded of my naivity. Jonny, I know it wasnt you or Glenn. Isnt it funny how one "person" who would jump into every post that is put up that could be to the detriment of someone else (sorry to talk vaguely, but you have to dont you). Im not going to satisfy any morbid curiosity anyone may have on this issue as theres no point except to give people something to talk about.
Its a temporary issue for Rob and I to deal with, weve got much more pressing and interesting projects to deal with which are for the GOOD of people and their livelihood.
My interest in this subject/ thread is ended.

Hi all,
I really do not know what all the fuss is about. Our customers are buying Haribo product because of the quality of the product, not because of the name on the tub. We have told Hurleys today that we want to continue buying haribo product, we don't care what they call it - we have suggested they call it Delux Jelly Mix and Delux Fizzy Mix. If it sells what difference does it make what it is called. One thing is for sure, if we buy inferior product then our sales will reduce - we had this problem in the past when Salysol had their own Yum Yums chocolate eggs and our egg sales dropped off to nothing because people didn't like the taste of Spanish chocolate. Although we want to pay a competitive price, we feel that in the long term it is better to pay slightly more to ensure constant repeat business. Just our opinion........ :-)
Regards Al.

Haribo threatening Legal Action against suppliers!

I haven't ever used Haribo. Maybe I'm missing a trick?
My best seller of all sweets happens to be the cheapest, nastiest Kingsway jelly rings.
