My local tesco had them 'on offer' at £0.85! Scandalous.
Just been to a cash and carry in Liverpool and they had loads of price marked ones at £3.89.

What about having a label made about 1cm tall that would wrap around the top of the can saying "vended by (whatever you guys call yourselves). That would hide the price and if they could be bothered to peel it of it would rip the pringles wrapper so they would not see the price. In my head it would look like the banner you can buy from tubz vending to go round the lid of the tower.
You can buy large labels from staples and guillotine them down. Failing that a printing company would run a fair few off digitally for less than £100.
Pain in the bum but would get you cheap stock that you can use for now.

Has anyone tried using the price marked ones. I used to pen out the price, but the newer ones seem much bigger, so I think it would make them look tampered with. I cant understand who would be willing to sell them in a shop for .49 anyway.

Hi,
That is worth trying, but none of my C&Cs have any in stock now. I am ok for now though.

Tried that with coloured masking tape can be done but fiddly. The old man has made a dabber the size of the price flash - its round piece sponge gaffered on to stubby stick he said its pretty quick to dip in paint and do them all

Just got back from Bookers, having checked Makro first. Makro had about 100 trays of 5 flavours (prawn cocktail, plain, S&V, BBQ and Sour) but at full price (5.99 + vat, yes 60p a pot)
Bookers had 66 trays of 4 flavours, no Prawn cocktail and on offer at £4.19 + vat = 42p each. They also had price marked 49p ones at £3.49 + Vat - I obviously cleared them out of the non price marked and they charged me the same as the price marked ones YES 35p a pot inc VAT!!!!!
Worth keep trying the different cash and carrys as they are obviously starting to come through, the sell by dates on these are Oct 12 - I believe Bookers have the offer on until 16th or 18th August
