Re: dodgy traders
lloyd buys scrap machines that have chillers missing/broken and dented and some are literally ready for the scrap yard. Then he wipes them over gets them working(in a fashion) and puts them on ebay...with a 12 month warranty (his ebay name is boattrip1357 but dont say i say i told you lol) and has machines on at the moment. he tends to target newcomers or taxi rank owners who want to vend their own products. Also his trick is to get the money upfront to buy the scrap machines...his refurbishment consists of wiping over the machine and thats it!!!! if it is dented he fills the dents with body filler and sprays them with car spray paint just to look ok to get your money.I have spoke to several people who have been ripped of by this guy....
if you have been conned by Lloyd Cresswell and want more info PM me your questions and ill try to answer them.

That's a watchdog wet dream. Drop them a line, I can picture it now matt alright posing as a newbie to the vending world. If there is enough of you that have been done then they may listen.
Failing that trading standards.

Or move this bit to the closed section then someone can let him know about the forum and tell him he would be able to sell some machines on here.

Re: dodgy traders
Selling business to business is completely different with very little comeback or none at all. None of it is covered by sales of goods etc.

You would be suprised of the rights B2B. Most items are covered by The trade description act 1974.National Vending wrote:Selling business to business is completely different with very little comeback or none at all. None of it is covered by sales of goods etc.
I would phone Citizens advice they can be very helpful.
