Database/Accounts for Full Sized Machines
Hello All.
Does anyone know of a speadsheet/Database out there that would help with stock/profit on full sized machines? I know there is the Venderbase one for towers/bulk, But wondered if there was something like that.
Cheers
James

I could knock together a database, but there just isn't the demand/market for it.

Is it that much more work compared to your tower databases?

Re: Database/Accounts for Full Sized Machines
I have a simple spreadsheet systems that records sales & purchases for each product line that I do. To get my gross profit I work on average cost for each product line. Sales -commission - average cost = gross profit. I have a separate spreadsheet for each overhead item, milage etc and a final spreadsheet for net profit. The purchases spreadsheets give input VAT. It's not a double entry system, so a bit basic for a Ltd co. but works for me. I just hand over to the accountant for tax submission purposes.

Yes and No. Venderbase is far too slow to cope with the extra field of product prices (currently every product is the same price)T-Vend wrote:Venderbase wrote:I could knock together a database, but there just isn't the demand/market for it.

Venderbase was initially created for my own use and I don't really have the time to do something else.
I'm working on a completely different database system for a different industry.

I wouldnt need the profit loss/stock, but a database for machines that tells me when next visit due Manually adjustale) , records takings I input plus deducts commision if required automatically variable %, works out VAT per 1/4 and can add notes for breakdowns. Oh and does the ironing would be handy to keep the mrs happy.
