Purely coincidental hmmmm?

Post by Ade »

I posted on a topic last week about a vendor asking advice on wether independant or franchise was best. Gave my experience and advice and basically got a load of lies from kris at tubz vending in response. that was on a sat or sun. So on monday morning (24th oct) i recieve a call from my local council saying they need to inspect my premises as i was registered as a food buisness. I registered sometime back. i`m sure it is purely coincidental i got that call??????????????
Anyway i have had my inspection and i have a nice piece of paper in front of me saying i am cleared to self pack  there wasnt any faults whatsoever. I dont get time to do much of it now as im too busy, but if i want to i can legally. Nice to be in control!

using new red lid pots and they are secure enough without anything, I have got the red strip tape but to be honest lids are very tight anyway

OK mate thanks and what about labels? Are you just labeling the lid or the pot as well? Sorry for being nosey I have potted a few eggs cause I ran out and didnt want to place a large order. I only labelled the lids with ingrediants and sell by date but they look OK. I too have bought some of the red lids and pots which I agree seem tight enough. Just was not sure if they had to be sealed as per some regulations or something.

Thanks
Steve

All my ingrediants for loose sweets go on tower label, showed mrs food hygiene lady and she was well impressed, not a requirement but excellent she said, important thing was bb dates being put on tubs
