adminsoft accounts does stock control etc and that is totally free. I did find a good stock control prog though ... too many downloads .. if I find it I will post the details here :)
Managing stock is easy. I have a checklist with all the products i use on. i use thes for loading the van and writing on when im about to order.
Managing sites is harder. Daz came up with venderbase which looks exellent. I built my own database from lotus approach. Dead easy to set up unlike the microsoft one (access i think its called)
I find my database better than spreadsheets as you can filter information and put it in call order when printing collection sheets
Inventoria is quite good , the question posed was about software not pens and paper.... he might have Graphophobia or summat.
