Hey everyone just wondered what you think of these machines?
I have noticed a few operators in the states doing this but can't find anything in the UK.
Energy shots are very popular now and i wonder if a machine selling these shots would do well in office blocks or call centres etc?
My machine would vend these shots and wondered if it's worth giving it a go?

I'm sure there was a guy on here last year selling energy powder.
Have a look through the Introduction forum maybe.

Oh right i am actually thinking of the little shots that Red Bull do.
Come in a little bottle, usually on a shop counter or something.

Re: Energy shot vending machine
Lee,
I'm not sure of the prices but they sell for around the £1 mark in shops if i am not mistaken, there are lots of differant variations; Red Bull, Monster, Relentless and other home made brands.
My only thought would be if i really wanted to sell this product i could maybe sell it through my towers now, as i just pop it into a empty container. Would have to check the sizing of it, if not a normal size container then deff a maxi tub. Downside to this maybe do i really want to sell this next to my sweets, and is there a market for it?
They would also have to go in bars or where they could be monitored by staff, as if i am not mistaken it's illegal for any to buy these who is under 18, due to the caffene in them and other products. So if this is the case, then i can't see any advantage to the venue, as they could go to a cash and carry and get themselves, sell them and make more money.
Please don't see what i am saying as having a go, just some things to think about.
Kind Regards
Chris

I wasn't actually thinking of putting them in bars i was thinking more call centres and large offices etc. These are the type of people that buy the bottles.
The bottles actually sell at around £3 in shops and the effects will last up to 5 hours.
For me it's a simple case of changing the decals on the machine and finding a site to try it. They are gaining a following now unlike a few years back when it was tried in vending machines, so it may be worth giving it a go?

Lee,
Did you give this a go. If so another thing to think about is that plenty of 16 & 17 year olds working in a call centre, how would you get round that??
Regards

It seems however that it is some shops policy (like asda) not to sell to under 16's.
