Kiddies rides outside newsagents on the street? are there not licencing requirements to have things on the pavement?
Welcome to the forum BTW - I would be interested in buying sites/leads in and around the greater manchester area if they ever arise.

I think we would all pay the going rate for sites. A handy reminder for all operators on here to update their location if nothing else for this reason

Hi Andy,If you would like to know about the bouncy castle/inflatable end of things, give me a buzz. Been at it for 12 years, there's too much to go over in writing, I can fill you in on the phone.

Re: Newbie and looking for advice
It all depends on who owns the pavement. If the Council own it, then it will cost approx £300 a year to put anything on the pavement. In many cases the shop will own 1 or 2 metres and sometimes even more. In these cases no permission/licencing is required. next time you're in town and you see commercial buildings built right on the pavement look out for stud marks on the pavement denoting the limit of the building owners property. I've 200 machines on pavements, I always ask the shop owner how far does his property extend to prior to installation.
Pete
PS I was in Manchester last weekend and I didn't see one machine outside any shop.

Thanks guys, got loads of ideas spinning around at the moment. Just looking for opportunities to expand what we currently have. Dont want to throw a load of money in and get caught out. Reading posts on this forum has really helped. Also, got 3 new sites this weekend.........next stop "Dragons Den"
