I have a venue which i have a machine in, bit of a gothic bar
Would likle to get a pringles machine in, one problem Sinclair Collis have a converted cigarette machine selling the pringles.
Is it wrong of me to try and take over the machine? I wouldn't do it if it was a operater but they have been happy to place machines were i already have them in a couple of sites. Is it worth getting into, from a hassle point of view? And would people consider it wrong?

Re: Ethics
Wouldn't a national operator have a contract with the venue to prevent that?
Ethically speaking, it wouldn't bother me because as far as national operators go, i'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot that they wouldn't have any issues about placing a like for like machine on your site. Indies are different as I think its important to have some for of professional code of conduct (albeit an unwritten one lol)

Re: Ethics
When you say take over the machine do you mean buy it from them or site your own and compete?
Personally unless the site are willing to get rid because they like your service I wouldnt bother. Plenty of other locations

Go for it then, if they are happy with you its the customers choice at the end of the day and clearly you are going to offer a greater range

Nothing wrong in giving healthy competition. Gives the customer more choice.
