Charity vending is something I have yet to get into – currently I have only gone down the commission route however just out of interest does anyone support local charities for vending instead of H4H?
I currently volunteer with a local hospital radio station (a registered charity) and was contemplating pitching some sort of commercial partnership to the committee – my main concern is whether this is a charity that people will support but it is a charity I do a lot of fund raising for and because I am involved on a day to day (well week to week) basis I will be able to see where the money is going. Plus it is a local charity and something that people can relate to.
I am not convinced I am going to go for it to be honest but I would be interested to hear people’s thoughts.

Hi Craig
I have commission based machines and also h4h, but on top of that on all machines I donate a small percentage to a small local charity, I don't use thier logo on machines though. But they are very very happy about it.

About 70% of our machines are for the local hospice. They go in really easily and everyone locally loves them.

Its very personal what people want to give money to. Cancer charitys and hospices are always good, hospital radio doesnt do it for me but then if I had a stay and relied on it I may think differently?
Animal charitys always do well too sometimes better than human ones

...have done for years, actually our commission admin system has a feature for this purpose.
The 'charity' tag to me comes over the wrong way from a marketing perspective which is why we don't mention it to the public, personally I prefer to give to anything which is a good cause and have even donated football kit for a kids team etc.
