its probably covered on here somewhere. You do have obligations to follow if packing at home.

no we supply a company who fill the crane machines with them. They had their own brand "icandycan" then switch to sweetfix a few months ago

on most lines you should be able to pack 300 an hour. However without a machinethe labelling would take the same time.

i would have thought that you would need a food handling licence ? , or at least list the ingredients etc ? . what happens if a foreign object is found in a pot , whos to blame ?
is there much of a saving in filling pots yourself ?

its about a fiver a box, sometimes more on certain lines. Most people who self pack are using the stuff with ingredients on the packets already. Loose sweets is a bit trickier and a grey area of course but its covered on here in depth before, but i agree packing at home isnt aas simple as most people think.

you have to be passed by your local council to self pack at home, ingredients isnt actually a requirement by law (look at bulks) but i label all my pots with ingredients, as for foreign object that could happen with any packer including the big firms, this is why you need to be passed by local council because they have certified the place of packing as hygenic and clean. Also public liability insurance is a must.
