Re: Sinclair Collis pringle machines.
How come you didn;t buy your area Nigel? I do think Sinclair Collis did charge a premium for the sites but I think the quality of sites were pretty good and now is a good opportunity to try and get more machines inside.
Those Pringles machines look like a maze to operate! I just pray one doesn't break down on me because I wouldn't have a clue how to fix them.
Sales havn't been great and I think that is because the machines don't advertise the products enough or don't stand out enough!
Do you know where we can the small product labels which you insert at the front of the machine?
How are yours going Al?
Cheers
Ross

Hi Ross. Only got the one mate, and had a coin jam on the first visit. I've had fruit machines in the past and coin mecs are the same. Hurleys did assure me that Collis would sort out any probs, at a cost of course! One thing is for sure, we're def going to have probs with these machines.... Re: Sinclair Collis pringle machines.
Yea, that's what worries me Al! I hope we get lucky and get our investment back before we receive any major problems which could jeopardise losing the site
One problem I have with a pub I bought from them is that he said he hasn't received any commission for ages, what they do is take all the money on site and every 3-6 months post the site a cheque of commission received. I need to get Collis to speak to the site to sort the issue out otherwise I will probably lose the site.
What other machines are you going to try and get into the site besides a tower which most mine already have from other operators on Help For Heroes
Cheers

Also are we going to have to get these machine PAT tested once per year? Just thought of another expense this could cost us

Re: Sinclair Collis pringle machines.
Didnt buy for a number of reasons!
Only nine machines in whole of Norfolk and Suffolk!
£300 for a converted Cigarette machine which is an unproven conversion was too much IMO, half that and i may have been interested.
These were designed for cigarettes not pringles and I do not think they will sell even half what a tower does!
Sinclair collis gave abysmal service and I was worried about losing the site before I had chance to get any money back!

Re: Sinclair Collis pringle machines.
I didnt buy either, was offered 2 sites but again thought they were too dear, they were pubs not prime sites and at £300 for a machine I knew nothing about it wasn't worth it. Sweet tower already on site from another operator? Definetly not worth it

Re: Sinclair Collis pringle machines.
Too rich for me.....tried to sell me the idea that other machines could go in to bowling alleys, etc. In practice very unlikely due to existing contracts.
