Does anyone gamble on shares? The company I used to work for floated on the stock market 3 yr ago at £1.44 a share. Just looked at their shares tonight and they were 6p yesterday and 8p today. Thinking of having a wee flutter myself. Share code is SNAK if anyones interested.

Maybe a waste of a gamble though, don't know enough about stocks and shares.

I use to work for this company a few years back and there were major changes happening with regards to management. Directors were leaving and selling their shares, and they reduced the self employed pay rates to their machine fillers and installers due to increased costs within the company. It was a mess then so I am not surprised with their share price.

Lee your name kinda rings a bell. What depot did you work out of? I was there 9 yrs. I am still friendly with some of the old staff and can't help feeling with the cut backs thats been made now can only be for the good. I know a lot of where money was squandered upon and before they bought over SITB the area that made the most profit was Scotland, managed by me :))

I still have their DB on my laptop. Out of date now mind you but was good for creating my owm.

Did you happen to work with someone that had a happy sounding surname by any chance?
