Re: Best Van?
I am now also the proud owner of a Vivaro, bought it today 58 plate. 64k. it has racking on one side but no boards which i think I may fit to it to insulate it a bit. picked it up at auction for about £4700 inc vat. not bad. Insured it with Gladiator for about £454. So what is this euro rating thing all about? my tax was £215 today for 12 months.

Re: Best Van?
Sounds like you got a good deal and I'm sure you will enjoy your van but had you bought a 09 plate you would have qualified for Euro 5 lower tax. My road tax is £135 a year. Not quite sure how it works, something to do with european build standard. Google it!
I was looking to change my van earlier this year but couldnt find one with no vat on a year 09/10 plate so just decided to keep mine a while longer.
I have fitted old army thomas bins to the sides of my van, great for keeping stock in without falling out. Also helps keep stock cooler in summer.

Ford Transit vans are the way to go, most reliable vehicle I have ever had! Never let's me down, i'm on 130 thousand miles and it still worls away like a bi*ch. They don't win Van of the year for nothing!

Re: Best Van?
Got to agree with Ross.
Had my transit nearly 2 years and no problems as yet on a 07 plate.
Mine as a high roof so plenty of room to stand up in.
Had a vivaro before this and it was nothing but trouble.
