tubz vending locks

Silly question alert but I dont have a spare towere to hand due to me always operating at full capacity which in hindsight is a little foolish! I have just bought a new cash box lock from tubz vending but it looks to me like a lid lock am I right in thinking its the same lock and I just need to take the little washer thing off?

It would be worth picking up a cheap tower as a spare 'just in case'

I have a couple but have stripped most of the useful bit off but still got a cpl of lids so could of used those! Always good to have the. Forum for info
