Summer Fayre

Post by Big Chris »

Just seeing if this idea would be worth while.

My daughter's school is having their summer fayre in July, and they are looking for local businesses to take some stalls up.

I was wondering that would be worth putting a few machines around the place? The school has roughly 600 kids in, it is a primary school.

Has anyone ever done this before or considered it?

Waste of time.....better selling some tat direct from your stall.......but ensure you have game attached no matter how easy it is

Hmm well im a scout leader and sometimes take a tower to Scouting events, I get lots of evil looks off other groups and parents but normally make a few £. As I give up my time for free everyweek I dont feel all that guility occasionally making a few £s

Took one to a football comp at weekend and plonked it at the side of the pitch, stood in the rain for 3 hours with the kids but at least I got £35 quid out of it!

My thoughts are, im going anyway, as have to take the daughter. I have the equipment sitting in my lock up, as don't have a site for it at moment. If it takes £20+ then i havn't lost anything really.
