Midland Vending toy machine package

Post by popp665 »

Just spotted over on Ebay (don't know how to link the page here)

They are doing a package of 8 toy machines + sites for around £4000

Looks like a reasonable price to me and I have dealt with Mike for several years, he knows his stuff and is a top bloke to work with, I am semi tempted......

Thoughts?

6 cheap chinese replicas of Beavers on a wheeled stand - looks inviting and will sell lots of product at 20p - but at £500 each, expensive. Superettes are about £300 new but offer 4 outlets, should pick up as much revenue though.

I got a sales e-mail for these the other day and was quite tempted myself as i only do towers and am thinking about branching out.
My girlfriend thinks it's a lot of money for something that vends at 20p, and has been trying to talk me out of it and to concentrate on the sweet/pringle towers.
Has anyone got any experience of toy vending, or of buying bundles from midland?
I sent midland a e-mail the other day to say i was interested in building a toy vending round in York but got no reply.

no direct experience but mike is a top bloke and wont rip you off he will always offer advice and has done me a few good deals. Yes its pricey but you are getting sited machines which are new. Toys are much less labour intensive so if your starting up and arnt confident siting yourself its worth a punt

A great idea for seaside locations. but one machine 6 heads is a little too big and won't suit if space is resticted (as in most pubs). Ask Mike if he does a 4 head version. one machine, 4 heads @ 20p + one machine, 2 heads 50p/£1 will take double the money and fit in the same space. That is my experience from 200 toy sites.
