Two machines stolen
I had two machines stolen from a site on August 28th in Newcastle-upon-Tyne while I was on holiday, a Clenport M81 and a Clenport M42 (Maxi pots).
I saw the CCTV when I got back from holiday, two bastards smashed a ground level window of the reception area and went straight for my machines, nothing else. They were in and out in less than 2 minutes with the machines still bolted to the stands, they didn't bother trying to get into a couple of full size vending machines right next to them, one of them was straight in and out but the other one either tried to smash the top part or dropped it (off camera) because the lid was off and smashed pots were lying around the next day. They looked like they were about 17 or 18, wearing black/dark tracksuits.
I am almost certain they will have smashed them up getting into them, probably junkies, but if I could even get the stands back it would be something. I know this is a long shot but if anyone in the North East sees Clenports for sale at a car boot sale, Ebay or somewhere please have a look at them because I scratched my postcode into the little ridge around the coin tray lock and it is marked with a UV pen also (NE. ...)
I also thought it was worth mentioning in case it has happened to anyone else in the North East recently and it is a gang targeting towers. Please PM me if you see or are offered machines or parts in the North East that look a bit suspicious.
Also, anyone recommend a good insurance company for towers?

Re: Two machines stolen
In London they leave your towers alone but follow you from site to site and nick the money from your van!

Hi Quinch mate,
This may be of interest to you.
I know you had those machines stolen, and this is up our end of the woods, and no locks ect.
So could this possibly be yours?
Chris
