Small tower v large tower

Post by PabloV8 »

Hi all,

How long has the 81 container been in operation?

Do you think it has many years left to run?

Is the Pringles 47 tub a better proposition for the long term?

Why do I ask!

60g of sweets for a £1 is steep, what happens when it becomes 50g - or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Kind regards,

Pablo.

Got that slightly wrong - 42 tub for Pringles, my point is those machines can move with the times I.e. more product in the larger tub.

Kind regards,

Pablo. :D

Its not steep, if anything the prices should be £1.20 a pot and you can get mechs that vend at this. Hurleys have also been trialling a two pound vend.

You have to understand that when purchasing anything out of a vending machine you pay a premium, the cost of the machine also has to be factored in

I agree with snackmore, £1 is too cheap. Besides in 5 years time the way mars, snickers and twix are going they will be the same size as the mini rolos.
Your paying for convenience.

Profit margins are generally lower as the pots are more expensive and you have to re-stock the machines more often as they only hold half (ish) as many pots, so fuel costs are higher.
