I don't know if people are aware but Discapa went bust September last year.
Their image rights have been bought, probably by departing directors, so they may very well resurrect their business. Understand the final couple of weeks were a little ugly.
Hope they do return as their Bouleys are second to none. Capsule stations were supposed to be decent too.

Re: Discapa are no more
Anyone know what will happen when new £1 coin comes into effect with these machines.
What will people do about coin mechs if company gone out of business.
Also the same with bandai and Tomy toy machines.
Haven't they both stopped doing toy machines aswell.
That is all my toy machines with no where to get new coin mechs.
I hope there will be a solution out there or I'm knackered.

Re: Discapa are no more
I've just ordered a old three pence bit on E-bay (cost about £3 with postage), as the new £1 coin is going to be modelled on this old coin I'm going to try it out in a few of my towers.

Beaver are making a coin mech for Tomy's. Toyvend have them for about £25. Also Christian at ATN is working with another manufacturer (probably cheaper than Beaver) to supply them in the near future. I would imagine both companies will do the same for Discapia machines if the demand is there.

Thanks for the response, puts my mind at rest a bit.
Had the scenario in my head that all my toy machines would all be useless wants the new coin comes out.
