Autonumis Battery Suppliers
Hi,
I bought 2 batterys from autonumis and it cost me around £75+ so I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for lower price suppliers of autonumis small pack vending machine batteries from? I don't mind paying £20 or so but the prices are quite excessive on these, I had a browse round the web and couldn't find any.

Thanks for the reply, I tried gbsbatteries but they said 2 wasn't enough quantity to produce the batteries and I would need a much larger order. I went to matalan to see if they could help but no luck.

You surely mean Maplins don't you?
If they cant help try eBay just search 12Volt battery and cut your lead off the dead battery and solder it on to new one!

Re: Autonumis Battery Suppliers
Frequency on a battery , you don't get frequency on dc only ac. Frequency is number if cycles from positive to negative, domestic electric is 50 hz (50 cycles between positive and negative per second)
Mind you it's been 20 years since I was at college , but pretty sure that's the case .
As Nigel says ,source a similar battery make sure voltage and amps are the same .

Re: Autonumis Battery Suppliers
thanks - I don't know much about electronics lol.
As a sidenote I was talking to someone at midland vending about this and he said gbs batteries do them in batches of 3 or more and also to cut off and save the leads off your old batteries as you need to send these to gbs to make the new batteries - they can't get the leads anymore.

I just Bought 20 x D Varta Batteries from batterystation.co.uk for £18 inc postage, that 90p a battery.
Maplins do a 4 x D battery box for £1.99, so I bought 2. Just need to solder the original wire to the battery box and then its done. Can replace batteries easy in the future.
Total price £11.20

Re: Autonumis Battery Suppliers
I did something similar with my multivend machine where I took the cord off the old battery and solder it to a (6 I think) battery box.
How do you go about soldering the 2 D battery boxes together?
