Re: Booker Pringles.
Just looked on the Booker website and my local has them on offer at £4.19, and £3.49 for price marked!!! (from £6.15 standard price)
It must be cheaper up here in the North!

Re: Booker Pringles.
Ive been putting a sticker over the price mark and got a phone call last night from an irate woman moaning I've ripped her off because she's removed the sticker and says she should only have to pay 59p for them , she says she will be reporting me to trading standards and informing Pringles I'm selling them at a higher price !!!cliffxtc wrote:I used the idea (from elsewhere on the forum) of buying price marked and covering them with a home-made sticker. The way forward, and only £3.19 in Bestway atm.
Should I be worried ? are we doing anything wrong by covering up the price mark ?
Cheers
Pete

Re: Booker Pringles.
The woman is all hot air......when I began doing this I emailed Trading Standards. They advised that it is perfectly legal to sell price marked Pringles for a pound providing I cover the price marking fully.
If you ever get challenged again, I always explain that we all have free choice over how we spend our money and no one is forcing her to place her pound in the machine. Other Pringles outlets are available within walking distance.

Re: Booker Pringles.
Yeah I too have been using price marked Pringles since I started in vending.
Perfectly legal as long as you cover the price up.... tell her to get stuffed!!

I go through about 100 trays per month. I really couldn't even begin to imagine the boredom of putting stickers on every pot!
