Re: New allergen label law
Agreed , it has to say it somewhere , not twice . To cover your **** just say it may contain allergies , list them and out a contact number for them to ring if not sure. Your covered them. Just make sure you have a product list with ALL allergies and you knk them if smeine rings you up to question

Re: New allergen label law
I spoke with tubz vending several weeks ago about this and they are sending out new stock with labels that comply with the allergens law.
Any pre-allergen law stock is still legal until its best before date.

Re: New allergen label law
That's perfectly right. All existing stock is good for the rest of this year.
All stock we now produce has the allergens on where necessary and new product labels will also have it listed when they are reprinted.
Regards
Paul

Re: New allergen label law
Assume this means that all the "self packers" out there will now have to source correctly printed labels or they will be in contravention of the law?

Re: New allergen label law
Hi,
If towers have to have an individual label stating all known allergens in the products that are stocked, when does this have to be in place. Currently, the stock I have does not have this information on each Hurleys pot, so how do I know what the allergens are.
In addition. If the products in your machine change, then the allergen info sticker may have to change?
I would also ensure that your contact number, states 9-5, or something similar, or you will get idiots ringing you at all hours.
Cheers,
Paul

Re: New allergen label law
All current can be sold for the rest of this year with no issues.
All newly produced stock have the allergens on where needed.
When we produce new labels they will have allergen info on.
Any ingredient changes will be accompanied by notification, new labelling and new product stickers.
Regards

I agree. So long as the product , or label has the proper allergy info, other labels are not necessary and will only encourage idiots to call you .
Cheers,
Paul
