Best response when someone says your sweets are a rip off

So went to service a new site today and the barmaid was saying how much of a rip off the tower sweets are. Theres nothing in them, disgusting she said. I felt like telling her where to go but bit my tongue and said do you think? What is the best response as ive had this a few times now.

If its in a pub its easy. I just point out a bottle of Becks costs 66p in the supermarket and ask how much they sell it for" It normally shuts them up!

Or tell them thats fine, do go to the supermarket in the rain and buy your own your tight ar5ed twot. Oh and did you claim compensation when you fell off that ugly tree?

If it's a commission site then I would point out any of the following:-

The commission that your earn from my vendor is actually more than I make as I have to take a hit on theft, wastage and depreciation on the tower plus other overheads which eat into my profit.

The reason why my products are a little more expensive is down to the fact that the sweet manufacturers only supply us with the bulk product and we have to buy the pots, label them up, pack them, buy cardboard boxes to transport them then I have to get in my car to service the vendor, this all costs money.

I provide you with a free service with no responsibility and give you xxx% each time I service the machine.

Thankfully it doesn't happen that often.
