SinCLair Collis Gone

Post by Coin Operated Group »

Had a couple of phone calls from customers telling me Sinclair collis have gone bump, they have handed keys to the machines to customers and said fill them yourself.

Worth a chat or maybe drop a leaflet round to your customers if your looking for another opportunity.

Anyone know price of cigarettes wholesale and retail in machines? Ive been offered 2 sites with 5k total turnover and trying to do the maths.

Did they operate any towers any more???

I believe they sold them all through Hurleys in 2013 although some macghines I bought from DH Leisure had Sinclair stickers under the DH ones.

Nothing like third hand tat!

They have to be away from the public so behind a bar for example. I know some pubs keep them in the cellar

I've a lot of 'Sahara Hot Nuts' machines on bar tops with Sinclair Collis stickers on the back. An attempt to diversify I guess!

Ive seen those hot nut machines around. They look great when youve had a couple of beers and are the right sode of the bar. But honestly if you think about it they must be a breeding ground for germs.

Bought some NEW lids and other items such as lock mechanism's from Hurley's sometime ago, got back what was obviously second-hand stuff - the name Sinclair Hollis on the underside of the lids gave it a way and the fact they were well used. No problem with that you say/think, may be not! They invoiced me for NEW items, I of course sent them back!
