Which toy machine?

Post by newmark »

Hi guys,

You may have seen from my other posts that I'm thinking of getting back into vending after a 20 year break (I used to have a handful of beaver and condom machines sited).

I'm hoping to diversify a bit and have some different machine, and from looking through the forum I see tower machines seem the prefered machines to vend potted snacks (Clenport M81) and Beaver machines are the prefered "bulk vendor".

However, for toy machines, I'm not sure what is the prefered model (ie; something that looks nice, is reliable, and will not break the bank).

Can anyone let me know what type of toy machine they recommend? Are the capsules easy to get hold of?

Thanks in advance,
Mark

Tomy are most reliable. But you can only get them 2nd hand now. Discapa are good.
Toys for
All things nice vending
Midland Vending
Maxi grabb
Toyvend
Most of these guys will also have 2nd hand machines.

Thanks Andy, very useful. Any thoughts on BANDAI CAPSULE STATION as I think these are what I've seen sited in the past?

Cheers, Mark

Ive got a double one of them you can have for £250. Nothing wrong with them but Im trying to stick to Tomy and Discapa.

You can get mini boulys cheap as well (I also have one of them £65), they are great for larger spaces. ie social clubs, outside shops.

Thanks everyone, I'll see how the towers go first, and will probably look into this if the towers go ok :)

Thanks again, Mark.

Dont wait too long Mark. If you get a good site, ie leisure centre, decent pub then get a toy and Pringles along side your sweets straight away. It will give you much better income.

agreed, if someone sees a sweet tower in a site with no toys, the question is going to be asked, by a competitor!!

Thanks guys, good point! I will keep an eye out so at least I have one or two ready if asked :) Are the toy capsules a standard size, or do each machine take a specific size capsule?

Thanks again, Mark.

Most machines will take 50 to 65mm balls. Fairly standard.
