Clenport cashbox lock question
Hi Guys,
I have come across a clenport machines with a T106 lid lock and what appears to be a clenport bottom lock. All of my clenport machines either use a 6048 or 7100 key for the bottom lock. Neither of these keys seem to open this machine. They both fit in the lock and feel a like a match but they wont turn. So my question is, are there any other common clenport cash box keys I'm not familiar with?
The lock is on fairly tight and I am assuming that it has probably just been over tightened resulting in this issue. I just wanted to double check before the hack saw comes out;)
Cheers, Jay.

It may be that the lock has been changed and has one of many combinations? Presume its a machine you have acquired?

Yeas, I have 3 keys that open about 95% of my towers and another 20 keys that open the other 20!

Re: Clenport cashbox lock question
Yes Steve, the lock could have been changed at some point and be any combination. I wouldn't know. It does look and feel like a standard clenport lock though. But I could definitely be wrong, of course, it does happen from time to time;)
Sounds like I've been lucky thus far Andy, If my keys match the lock they tend to work, I'll be bearing it in mind if I have any issues in the future though!
It sounds like testing a few more keys and then cutting the bugger off if that doesn't work.
Cheers, Jay.

Re: Clenport cashbox lock question
T106 is a newer but common top lock. 7200 is also quite common for cash box lock.
Just changed all my tower locks, now have two top lock & two cash box keys for all 300 towers & pringles.
got loads of spare cash box locks if anyone wants them.

Hi Pete,
I'm pretty much out of spare locks, how much do you want for them?
Jay.
