Hi Mark, some good points, and I would imagine you're probably right.

It seemed strange as they did not want to discuss any possible solution at all, and just repeated it needs to go ASAP.

I'll call in in a couple of weeks and see if there is another one there, and report back :)

Hi guys, I thought I would let you know the mystery is solved............

I was passing today so thought I'd call in for a quick drink, and guess what - THEY HAVE ANOTHER TOWER! It seems their worries about the possibility of my tower getting stolen was a red herring, as mine had a nice heavy base and their new one has a skinny lighter base, and is next to the door, so there is more risk of the new one being carried away than mine.

There was no operator sticker on the machine (nothing new there) and it is clearly a second hand machine, so I suppose they may have bought their own machine on eBay and stocking it themselves. I cant think they would have another operator as they were happy with my service (frequently refilling/cleaning the machine, attending same evening when a coin got stuck, took family there for a meal, even wrote positive review of meal on trip advisor!) :)

Oh well, all part of the fun! I thought I'd mention it since I asked for advice on this a while ago, so thought it only fair to let you know the end result.

Keep in touch with them Mark, when their tower breaks/jams and their stock i going out of date you may well get back in.

Maybe their tower will suddenly get a load of trolley tokens so that it does not seem worthwhile for them? Oh and they jam as well!

it's all about the site having confidence in you and what you say. If they see you as an asset, you are more likley to be retained. If you are too much trouble, you will go.

I have only just seen your reply on them getting their own! It's is a shame that they are not able to share the real truth with you and this in turn will alienate you as a customer. Their loss and as others have said, I am sure the stock will go out of date as they have to buy in large quantities.
