Looks like you have a good plan of action to help all the coin operators update their new £1 coin carriers/mechs. If I get asked by any of my customers what they should do about the new £1 coin change, I will put them your way if that is ok?

Kind regards,

Barbara
sounds good Barbara, thanks for this!

wow, that will keep the engineer busy!
i asked about discounts for quantity and he didn't seem that keen to be honest, as its quite a labour intensive job?

He did say though that the tower mechs on tubz vending and clenport machines are much easier to convert than the discapa mechs and toy machines in general seem to be harder to convert.
If you send tower mechs in batches of 50 he said he can knock a £1 off per mech.

Cheers
Nigel

A Quick Update-
Our Engineer says he can only do Complete mechs from now on due to shear volume that he is being asked to convert.
We have been sent a few coin carriers seperate and it is very hard for him to Guarantee they will work if he hasn't got the EXACT mech case it is going into as the casings may vary very slightly.
To Summerise, ONLYsend complete mechs from now on , NOT just coin carriers.
Many Thanks

Nigel

Thanks to anyone who has sent in their spare mechanisms, we are making good progress on all the tower mechs.

They are sent back to you in sturdy boxes and bubble wrapped, please guys, do not send your mechs in empty tubz vending or hurleys sweet boxes, they are not strong enough!
Another order ready to be sent back to operator..

Also included in our price is vinyl graphics that clearly announce to your customer that the machine now accept's both coins!
In short, NOW is the time to get them sent to us, do not delay until after Christmas as that means you get your mechs back at the slowest time of year!
Some SLOW sites only need a visit every 3 -6 months after Christmas, so you will be potentially missing out on any new coins in circulation if they are not done before Christmas.

Remember, The Early Bird Catches the Worm!

Are you still doing these? Is it necessary to change the carrier again after the 6 month switch over period from the old coins to the new coins?
