Hi,
Still new to this and wondering how much of a problem are trolley tokens for the £1 mechanical vend community, particulary the Tubs, Hurleys, £1 vend guys
Many thanks for any response, and ideas of how to minimise/deal with the problem.
Regards
Richard

Re: Trolley Tokens
Hello Richard
We used to have 1 in 1,000 as an average so it's nothing to worry about.
Kind regards,
Barbara

Re: Trolley Tokens
Have you mentioned this to the site itself? I have a customer in Scotland to whom this happened to - main car dealer and they also give out tokens. The Dealer Principal sent out a message to all staff which put an immediate stop to the theft! Might be worth a go to 'ask for their help'.Ade wrote:got a problem site that do this and machines on clic sargent charity, its a main dealer garage to, ive even put a sign on machine saying profit goes to clic sargent and please dont use if you cannot put a £1 in.

Re: Trolley Tokens
In my opinion hat might be a risky strategy - showing/telling the site that trolley tokens are being used runs the risk of MORE people being made aware that trolley tokens may work, and therefore more people using them. I don't think being for charity will make no difference, people steal from honesty snack boxes all the time, even though they are clearly labelled as raising money for charity. Unfortunately the only real course of action, if it is becoming non viable, is to remove the machine altogether - something which I've done in the past.

Re: Trolley Tokens
Im with Mark, I wouldnt tell them. Either you could get more tokens or if I was the owner of the site I'd tell you to remove the tower.
