Anybody tried advertising their vending service...side of a bus, local newspaper, radio etc?

I used to run a recruitment agency and we saw good returns from ads for the service..your thoughts?

Only Yell, tried Google ad words to no great effect and invested in decent website with SEO.

I think nowadays most folk google if they want anything to be honest. I think bus adverts and other sponsorship is vanity rather than seeing a financial return.

I sponser a kids football team and have a hoarding banner thing on an all weather pitch. Other than supporting local causes its a waste of time

I tend to think money wasted on this sort of advertising is wasted. Best way to get new business is ask, and then ask for referrals. Its just people dont want to do it!
