What is your on site routine?

Post by Tufty »

Hello,

I am new to the forum and vending but excited to get started.

I have just bought some used towers,a couple are sited and I'm planning on visiting them this weekend but a little unsure of the actual process.

Could anyone share the order they do things when you arrive on site? I just mean things like do you sort money first or last etc.

Also wondering if you wanted to remove stock for any reason what is the quickest way of doing this? For example if you had a column still stocked 9 high and wanted to replace all that product with a new line,

Sorry if my questions are very obvious!

If I have a column of 9 to remove, I can get the top 3 out from the top. I have long fingers, vend the rest.

I fill up first then do the cash. On a lot of sites I only do the cash every 2nd or third visit.

Thanks Style, what's the reasoning for only doing cash every 2 or 3 visits? Is it simply just to save some time or does it make any commission look more attractive to site owners?

Yep, both those answers. I don't want to give someone 8 quid?

Makes sense. Do you have a lot of towers? If you have any of the Zenjet ones do you have any idea about how to remove coin mech? Clenport seems straight forward but I can't seem to get these ones.msorry for pestering you with questions!

I’ll post up tomorrow with instructions on removing the coin mech. I’ve just done a long reply and I lost it!! Off to sleep now, too tired to re-write.

If Zenjet are the Snack a can, vending revolution type. (Which it sounds like if Barbara has an answer) then they are the same as Clenport. I don't have a problem with reaching the catch, I know Pete on here uses a bent spoon so that may be the answer for you.

Thanks guys,

For some reason it is just this one I can't access,it seems like there is no lever or it has some something covering it. I think I will follow the advice in the video link and try and totally strip it down and see what I'm dealing with, good practice anyway I suppose.

Personally I rebuild all of the second hand towers I buy in from the bottom up, and I have come across a number of tower bases which are physically impossible to remove the coin mech without physically disassembling the whole base unit, in this case I always cut out the plastic to make it possible to get to the coin mech lever when its reassembled and on site.
