Are Skittles worth stocking?

There seems to be quite a lot of posts suggesting the fill level is a bit rubbish on Skittles but they also seem to be listed amongst most peoples best selling products.

So are they worth stocking? Do you get complaints about the fill level?

Never underestimate the power of a brand - they are a magnet to your machine.

Skittles to pack are an expensive item, ie the manufacturers don't offer much discount even when buying in enormous bulk so the weights that the suppliers put in is the best they can do to ensure it is cost effective for them to do so. Due to the product size and heavy weight, when compared to popcorn, there isn't much 'air' in between the products so they rest at the bottom of the tub. Talking as an ex-supplier we were always on the lookout for branded products with 'air' as it gives the impression of more product for the money.

As I said above, never ever ever underestimate the power of a brand.
