why are soo many for sale

i notice that lots of tubz vending towers seem to be up for sale on e bay and gumtree , why is this? is it that people have signed up and cant make it work , or are they unable to sight them so give up , seems odd theres so many for sale

can anyone tell me please why hurleys project higher profits from a 10 tower buy than tubz vending, is it because the outlay is less from hurleys, or is it to do with the cost of stock and delivery charges

Lol, the figures are all made up and pie in the sky. Its all about your averages and as your numbers of towers grow your averages will fall.

In my experience, people often buy into this business via a franchise with high expections (based on promises they have recieved). When they find the returns are less than expected, they decide to exit the business, and sell their towers to recoup some of their investment!

At any one time, there are always people selling machines and the reasons are plentiful.

- they no longer can be bothered to run the business - too much effort!
-they no longer want to run their business, ie can’t be bothered to go around to empty machines.
-many don’t manage their businesses properly and fail.
-Entering the market thinking the money rolls in without effort and give up.
-Ill health
-moving to different part of the country
-downsizing their vending business
-not enough profits in the sites they occupy and reluctant to re-site

I could go on and on. It’s not just vending, this happens in business as a whole and nothing has changed for decades. We started out circa 30 years ago - we bought others out, purchased second hand ones being advertised and provided you check the vendors before you part with your money you should be fine.
