Hi all.
As for the sticky label residue, WD40 is Excellent, as is VEGETABLE OIL, but Veg oil has to be left on for a few mins before it works.
As for those Pesky Starlight Labels, I used a plastic scraper, then WD40 after. HAPPY SCRAPING!

You should never use WD40 anywhere near food products - I love WD40 but only when working on my motors. Maplin sold a great product for removing labels, now defunct company.
Have recently been using Sticky Label remover by Tableau, it is good and costs £5.25 from most hardware stores.
Panel wash is still the best however, waiting for warmer weather to use that.
