Social distancing in pubs

Lost 4 pubs this week. Total 9 machines. Probably about 1k per month. FFS

I’ve lost 25 sites so far with about 35 towers inside, 20% from pubs closed down and gone out of business and the rest hysteria from covid

shut down, one doesnt want to encourge kids to run around, 1 bought their own machines because someone sold them cheap because they had a load of spare machines after losing sites during lockdown

The frustrating thing is I thought we would all get a massive boom in sales when the pubs open today but the majority of pubs who have kept my towers have put them away in the cellar until they feel comfortable putting them back out (if they ever do) so we may struggle to sell stock before sell by dates

so far only had sell by date concerns but waiting on the big loss

Its saddens me to read about the site losses here, & saddens me more knowing that they will not be the last I read about, I hope the financial impacts are minable to you all.

Personally I think it is going to be a very tough industry to be in for a while to come yet. But it’s a bit early for me to speculate on how sales will be moving forward but hopefully some semblance of normality will return by Christmas.
