Prinlges Machine
Hi,
Would anybody be able to explain, i have a pringles tower which won't vend properly.
The reason i think is because instead of taking 7 plastic segments, this one only fits 6?
Does this mean it chinese or something and that it needs differant segments? And is there a place i can get the correct segments to fit it, so it will vend properly??
Kind Regards
Chris

Chris,
Need more info, Clenports have six rings. On Clenports you have to make sure the columns aligh correctly over the shoot for it to dispense properly. There are a number of different alignment options but only one will dispense properly. You have to fiddle with the lugs on the bottom segment until you have the correct alignment.

Re: Prinlges Machine
The secret is to line your plastic segments all the same so that the plastic circle on one segment is all in line, you will also see a circle on the black circle at the bottom that the segments fit into, they al need to be lined the same

Re: Prinlges Machine
Steve,
i have done that, but still no joy.
I am trying with pringles and maxi pots. And they are all getting jammed. Its takes the product but them jams the next product so you can not turn the coin mech to vend the 1st product.
Any ideas, anyone??
Kind Regards

Re: Prinlges Machine
It might be fatal mate, I had one do that. If it has a metal drum fitted its probably that thats sticking hence the next pot starting to drop, I took mine apart but ended up scrapping it, they use plastic barrels now which appear trouble free?

Re: Prinlges Machine
Hmmm, yes these are metal barrels.
I seem to have cracked it for the pringes, it works for them now. But the maxi pots just seem to be getting stuck constantly. Ive tried all sort, turning them upside down, changing the contents so the weight is differant ect. Suppose not all is lost if i can get it to vend pringles then its better than nothing.
Cheers

Re: Prinlges Machine
Hi chris
Try turning the maxi pots upside down and vending.they work a lot better.
Also make sure you turn handle slowly as it helps to let pot drop into drum.
If this works put a sign on machine to say turn slowly.
As people have said above the metal barrel machines do not take maxi pots very well.
I put all maxi pots in upside down in every machine just to make sure they dont jam.
