Plastic barrels

Post by choice vending »

Hi Folks. i have just brought my first few plastic barrels for my sweet towers. I have changed a couple over but im not happy with there performace. If i turn the coin mech quickly often the tub of sweets doesn't drop. Also happens with capsules with the adaptation in.

Any pointers

Regards Brian

Hi Brian,
A. What type of machine are you converting? Snatch A Can etc
B. Who did you buy the barrels off?
C. Are you converting old machines into new sweet machines?

Cheers

I have a few chinese sweet towers with broken barrels. the original tubz vending machines not the snack a can ribbed machines. I have swapped the knackered barrels for the new plastic barrels

Hi Brian,
Unusual for the barrel to break, what has actually broken?
I get an order next week from tubz vending with a few plastic barrels to convert the ribbed 'snack a can' machines. I have about 20 of those critters to change but thought I would try a few over the xmas, run a full machine or more through the machine to make sure everything works as it should. I put new £1 mechs in the ribbed machines however, I find that several of the machines jam due to 1.5 pots dropping. I have put this down to the depth of the metal barrels hence the conversion that I shall try. I will be doing this very soon so will keep you posted, will also look at any area that is weak or problematic.
Cheers

Right problem solved and ive been a muppet lol. i didnt take off the tape over the metal pin that stops you turning the barrel too quickly. Big thanks to tubz vending brands who picked it up on here and rang me this morning. Palbo on some of the very old Chinese metal barrels the cast can break on them after a few years.
