Hi All
I will be marketing approx 40 Reconditioned Towers up for grabs at a bargain price. £50 each or £45 if you buy the lot! The machines are all Chrome, including stands and have been upgraded to accept the new £1 coin and are all in good working order. I do have a photo. There are also 11 sited machines as well which will be marketed at the same time. Seller keen to sell.
If you are interested please PM me or email: barbara@veningsitingservices.co.uk for further information or if you want to see the photo of the machines.
The seller is unable to palletise and they will need to be collected from Hampshire.
Kind regards,
Barbara

Sign of the time!
Machines two years ago sold for £100 with a stand, sited machines a little more..... I tried to give twenty old stands away last year for free, no takers so I skipped the lot!
What price next for towers? £25......
is this type of business past its sell by date?

THe business has got loads left. There was an abundance of towers for a while because of the new £1 coin. Give it 18 months and they will be fetching £100 again.

Thanks again, that is reassuring, was starting to think that the bottom was falling out of this line of business.

I agree with Style, the business still has legs, yes the market has changed but that just means you have to adapt - that's business.

Re: CHEAP TOWERS FOR SALE WITH STANDS - BARGAIN!
NO THE BOTTOM IS NOT FALLING OUT OF THE TOWER BUSINESS
IMO its all because of the new £1.
I sold all my towers around six months ago but had them all converted for the new coin pre sale.
They would not be worth much at all had i not done this.
No operator wants to take on someones towers that need converting, unless you are Giving them away.
In my Experience, converting towers is very Labour intensive and the chinese mechs are poor quality and often you cannot mill out the brittle coin carriers successfully!
Many smaller operators either couldn't or wouldn't put the time in and simply sold out for what ever they could get.
Thus, a Glut of cheap towers for anyone who had the skill or time to convert them.
If i was still operating towers the last thing I would be worrying about is the resale value of them.
There has never been a better time to Buy them now they are cheap as chips!
If they are £40 - £50 a time second hand, in a good site you will make that back in 6 months or before.
So its a quick return on investment which is the only thing that matters in coin op.
IMO there has never been a better time to buy out smaller operators as towers are cheap and tubz vending now do toys for them which look great and sell very well!!
Well, they do for me in my Fiam machines.
